Heater’s BaseHit Pitching Machine will throw real leather baseballs. The BaseHit is the lowest priced machine on the market thathrow real balls. You can also use pitching machine baseballs, dimpled baseballs, and lite baseballs.
Throws up to 45 MPH
The BaseHit will throw real baseballs up to 45 MPH. 45 MPH fastballs will challenge young hitters. The machine has the power to throw lite balls up to 60 MPH.
Dual Bearing Electric Motor
Strong motor allows for pitches up to 45 MPH.
Variable Speed Control Dial
The speed dial has settings 0 through 10. At 0, the machine turns off, while the speed at setting 10 is 45 MPH. There is about a 4 MPH difference between each setting. See below for all the different speed settings.
Large 6" Wheel

Enclosed Wheel
The casing encloses the wheel, which protects the user and kids from the wheel. Most machines have an open wheel where kids and coaches can get their fingers stuck. All Heater Pitching Machines have an enclosed wheel to ensure your safety. The casing also protects the wheel and motor from line drives hit back at the machine.
Adjustable Pitch Height Knob
The machine’s pitch height adjusts from one pitch to the next. You can do a pitch low in the zone, followed by a pitch high in the zone. An adjustment to the pitch height is as simple as turning the knob.
Heavy-Duty Tripod Stand
The Basehit Pitching Machine comes with a heavy-duty tubular steel tripod stand. Steel protects the machine against the wear and tear it will receive over the years.
Pushpin Legs
The legs have pushpins that make it easy to assemble and disassemble the machine. Moving the machine is a lot easier when the legs are off the machine. If you plan to be moving the machine often, the quick assembly and disassembly will come in handy.

Comes with Automatic Ball Feeder
The automatic ball feeder is a nice feature as it allows for single batting practice and the coach/parent to instruct the athlete while he/she is hitting. Each ball feeder holds up to 12 leather baseballs. It will automatically pitch a ball every 10 seconds. This gives the batter plenty of time to get back in his stance and get ready for the next pitch.
Built-in Machine Harness
The built-in machine harness allows you to pair up the pitching machine with any of Heater’s Batting Cages. The machine will attach to the outside of the batting cage, protecting the machine and the adult feeding the machine.

Q: Can you use the machine for fielding exercises?
A: Yes, the machine tilts downwards to throw groundballs and upwards to do pop-flies. With the machine only going up to 45 MPH, it is not able to shoot balls deep into the outfield, However, it can still be used for infield fielding drills and mid-range pop-ups.
Q: Does the pitching machine throw softballs?
A: No, the BaseHit Pitching Machine throws baseballs only.
Q: Is there any benefit to using the dimpled baseballs?
A: Dimpled baseballs have a similar feel off the bat as a real baseball. While real baseballs are great to use, they will wear down quicker being hit repeatedly. Dimpled baseballs will last a lot longer and will better withstand the wear and tear.
Q: Can you leave the pitching machine outside?
A: If you plan to leave the machine outside, we recommend you cover it with a tarp or some type of cover.
Q: What is the weight of the machine?
A: The BaseHit weighs approximately 27 pounds. The lightweight of the machine makes it easy to move on and off the ballfield.
