Variable Speed Control Dial
Heater’s Softball Machine throws speeds up to 50 MPH. The speed dial allows you to adjust the speed of the machine between 0 and 50 MPH. The dial is marked 0 through 10. We have the different speed settings marked below.
Durable Rubber Wheel
Heater equips the softball machine with an 8” rubber wheel. The rubber wheel is throws accurate pitches and withstand the wear and tear you will put it through.

Easy Connection
The feeder will connect to the ball chute. It is a quick process and will take around 15-30 seconds before you are ready to start firing pitches.

When the ball feeder is turned on it will throw a pitch every 9 seconds. The feeder is easy to turn off if you would like to give the batter instruction between pitches.
Compact & Lightweight

A: Yes, the machine can pitch 11” softballs, however, not as accurately as 12” softballs. The machine is designed to be the perfect size for 12” softballs. 11” softballs will fit through the machine, but the machine will not get the same grasp on the ball as it does the 12” since the 11” softballs are smaller. This will possibly result in less accurate pitches.
Q: What age groups use the 11” softballs and 12” softballs?
A: The 11” softballs are typically used by younger girls. Most little leagues for kids under 10 years old use 11” softballs. The 10-13 age group is typically a mix between 11” and 12” softballs. Once the girls hit middle school, high school, and collegiate ball it is exclusively a 12” softball. Men’s softball leagues primarily use 12” softballs as well.
Q: Does the pitching machine throw baseballs?
A: No, the Heater Softball is designed to throw softballs only. If you are looking for a machine to throw both baseballs and softballs, the Heater Combo is a great option. There are also plenty of baseball only options (i.e., Heater BaseHit, Heater Real, and Heater Pro Curve).
